Setting up a working cron job

If you have cpanel setting up a cron is easy. Go to your cron manager and make sure you target the exact directory for example on hostmonster it would be:

/ramdisk/bin/php5 -q /home/username/public_html/cronfile.php

to run the file cronfile.php in the public_html folder. Other hosts would differ, but make sure you do not just enter in the php file by itself. Get the root location which can be found with an ftp program such as filezilla.
